John V. Sturiale is responsible for the asset management group that manages the investment products for Schwab Corporate Services. This includes all of the investment strategy and process for the following (collective funds): Schwab Managed Retirement Trust Funds (SMRT Funds); Schwab Stable Value Fund; Schwab Institutional Large Growth Fund; Schwab Institutional Large Value Fund; Schwab Institutional Small Cap Fund; Schwab Institutional Core Plus Fund; Schwab Institutional Core Fund; Schwab Institutional International Fund (to be launched in 2008).

 

Sturiale was a director at Schwab Retirement Investment Services (SCRS) before his current position. He was responsible for the asset management of SCRS investment products.

 

Prior to joining Schwab in 2000, Sturiale was vice president of investments and portfolio manager for National City Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. Before that he served as senior investment analyst and portfolio manager with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio.

 

Sturiale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and finance from the University of Akron. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Ashland University.

 

He is a Certified Financial Planner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary and a member of the Financial Planning Association.
