Bryan Olson's areas of expertise include goal-oriented investing strategies, risk-reduction techniques and portfolio analysis. He and his investment advice team provide webcasts, articles and charts that give individual investors clear, actionable advice on how to diversify their portfolios and stay on track to achieve their financial goals.
Olson's views and analyses of investment issues can be found in media throughout the country, including The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, The Financial Times, BusinessWeek, CNBC, SmartMoney and others. He is a frequent speaker at investing forums for Schwab clients. Olson's responsibilities also include coaching and guidance for Schwab investment consultants on complex issues of portfolio construction and advice.
Previously, Olson led the research team that produced Schwab's Mutual Fund Select List. Prior to joining Schwab in 1996, he spent seven years as a research analyst for an investment advisory firm.
Olson is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Weber State University.
