Matt Hastings is a member of the management team that oversees Schwab’s taxable fixed income mutual funds. He is co-manager of the Schwab YieldPlus Fund®, the Schwab Total Bond Market Fund™, the Schwab Short-Term Bond Market Fund™, the Schwab Inflation-Protected Fund™, and the Schwab GNMA Fund™.
Prior to joining Charles Schwab in 1999, Hastings was with Lehman Brothers in fixed income sales and trading.
Hastings earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of San Diego. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco.
