Christopher Burdick produces in-depth macroeconomic research and is one of the authors of the Schwab Market Perspective column on schwab.com. He is a member of Schwab’s Investment Strategy Council, which defines broad asset allocation guidelines for the firm’s investor base and provides analysis of economic data.
Burdick founded the company's Market Analysis, Research and Training department, which was later assimilated into the Schwab Center for Financial Research. He held various positions in banking, finance and lending for 10 years before joining Schwab in 1992.
He is a licensed NYSE Series 16 supervisory analyst and general securities principal. Burdick attended the University of Michigan, where he studied engineering and business.
