Social Responsibility

Financial education is our top priority, but we also strive to make a positive impact on our communities and care for the environment.

  • Financial Education: Through websites, workshops, articles and books, we help consumers with the money issues  that matter to them most.
  • Volunteerism: Employees donate their time and talents to bring Schwab's vision and values to life.
  • Corporate Giving: We encourage employee philanthropy, provide financial support and sponsor charitable events through the independent, nonprofit Charles Schwab Foundation and The Charles Schwab Corporation.
  • Environment: We want our impact to be large but our environmental footprint to be small – so we strive to be environmentally friendly in our workplace.
