Located in regional service centers based in Austin, Denver, Indianapolis, Orlando and Phoenix, Schwab’s Client Service & Support teams contribute to our purpose by delivering extraordinary service and financial education to our clients. Clients who call Schwab’s toll-free phone line reach a knowledgeable Client Service & Support professional who can answer questions, provide on-the-spot assistance and contribute to helping everyone be financially fit.

 

Client Service & Support representatives work in small teams and have direct interaction with clients over the phone, helping to build their trust, confidence and loyalty. Specialized teams are devoted to providing quality investment advice, supporting satellite branch offices and guiding clients in global investing. Other teams provide important support to the client experience through voice technology, web/desktop support, project management, traffic management and communications.

 

Training

Most of these professionals are licensed brokers (Registered Representatives), and many receive advanced training on margins, options and other sophisticated trading needs. Client Service & Support also has a trainee program for candidates who are not yet Series 7 registered. This program is highly competitive and includes several months of paid training in order to become a licensed Schwab broker.
